Adam G. Mignanelli

B. 1985. Providence, RI
Lives and works in New York, NY
BFA, Parsons School of Design, 2007

Adam G. Mignanelli's work explores unfamiliar locations; oceans, natural habitats, dystopian recreations of nature and neuron synapse behaviors. Through the use of xerox prints, stained canvas, gestural strokes created with enamel and oil paint, he creates abstract landscapes which reference these locations and ideas.

His work studies the habits of nature, human's love and destruction of natural environments and self, partnered with the mind's behaviors and reactions struggling to build a guide to explore these situations.
